Disney's Summer Jam

How do you promote upcoming films in an immersive and engaging format?

 

A team of five designed the event 'Summer Jam', a collaboration between Oberoi Mall Mumbai and the Walt Disney Company India. The main aim of the project was to promote the upcoming Disney films 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4' and 'Cars 2', and the 'Disney Princess' franchise. We proposed a series of curated events to be placed across the mall, engaging consumers in themed activities.

Each area was separately designed and detailed, keeping in mind Disney's brand guidelines and the message for the target consumer. The team took inspiration from the popular characters and elements from the films that resonated with the audience to create enthralling experiences. The pop-ups are a combination of instructed activity meets delightful visuals that draw the audience into the scene, making them feel like a part of the story world. The consumers loved the event and footfalls in the mall increased during the three weeks that the event took place.

The event was even featured in BuzzInTown's must-visit-this-weekend list.
